Active SlideShow is a part of Active Suite 2008 that allow you to create slide show with a professional quality.

Using the slide show wizard to :

• Display all currently selected wallpaper, without music, or while playing one or more music CDs during your slideshow,
• Build a play list with your favorite songs and music, adjust the volume of each title, and sort them in the best order for you,
• You can also, create a beautiful slide show :
  • By synchronizing music or songs with the pictures,
  • By recording audio narration for each photo,
  • By adding titles.
• You can also use Active Slideshow as a screen saver for Windows.

Description of the features

This new part allows you to display automatically your photos, according to an exposure time you choose. With the new amazing effect "automatic zoom" (adjustable in depth and speed), you will get a slide show like a video for your static photos, as if you had used several cameras to "shoot" the photos.

For a easily use

Very often, (too often!), many wizard have a reduced sizes that can not be enlarged and adapted to your screen size. The wizard of Active SlideShow can be expanded to cover all the screen and all its objects are adapted to the new size. For example, the contact sheet that allows you to view the photos in the slide show, can show more pictures on the screen.

"Smart" thumbnails

Each thumbnail give to you several kinds of information on the image, and / or to perform somes actions. Here are a few:

Resizing corner : Click and drag the mouse on the screen to enlarge the image and see the details, release the mouse, the image back to its thumbnail size. It works in all directions, you can, depending on the position of your photo on the screen, stretch up, down, left or right. Show sample		Image informations : Disk location Size and resolution Creation date, last modification date EXIF informations : Device model , Shooting date, Author, Copyright ... Show sample
Compression rate of the image Give you, in real time, and visual indication on the real size of the image.		Multimedia zone : Image name. Music linked to the image, click to listen. Narration linked to the image, click to listen, Title linked to the image, click to edit.

TimeLine and toolsbar

• According to the display time (here, 27 seconds), the timing of each image is shown.
• The top gradient bars, shown the audio narration. Just drag the mouse over, and a balloon display what is the audio file and its duration.
• The central red gradient bar shown the current narration recording.
• The lower gradient bars, indicate the music will be played during the slide show. Just drag the mouse over, and a balloon display what is the audio file and its duration.
